History: When the District acquired the assets of the Glenshire Mutual Water Company it included several parcels of land. Our commitment to the people of Glenshire was to sell the surplus land and credit them with the cash received. The Board of TDPUD declared the Somerset property surplus and offered it for sale to public agencies as required by law. The parcel in question is in the shape of a flag and is not a building lot. No public agency expressed an interest in it. The Board established a value for it and offered it for sale to the public. New information: We have been working with the Glenshire Homeowners Association since the Glenshire community has an interest in the outcome of this sale of land. We received a full price offer of $25,000 from Charles Timinsky and Dale E. Timinsky, Trustees of the Timinsky Family Trust. The Timinskys own the adjacent parcel and are the only people who would benefit from ownership of this parcel. Attached is a map of the District parcel and the current Timinsky parcel. If the Board approves this sale we expect the sale to close the sale within a matter of a few days. i Recommendation: That the Board accept the offer from Charles Timinsky and Dale E.
