Subject: BID AWARD FOR PURCHASE OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT FOR OLD GREENWOOD
WELL
1. WHY THIS MATTER IS BEFORE THE BOARD
Board approval is required for equipment purchases over $15,000.
2. BACKGROUND
The well drilling and well development are complete. The well pump and motor were brought to the
board and approved on January 4, 2006 for the Old Greenwood Well. This electrical equipment is the
meter/main and motor control panel which will control the well.
3. NEW INFORMATION
Bids have been opened and publicly read for the District's purchase of Electrical Equipment for the Old
Greenwood Well. The District received three bids, all of which included the required paperwork.
Below is a summary schedule of the bid information received:

4. RECOMMENDATION
I recommend that the Board award the contract for the Electrical Equipment for the Old Greenwood
Well in the amount of $57,800.00 to WEDCO Inc. and authorize the transfer of funds from Facility Fees.
