I'm appalled and outraged that it's being blamed on the recent draught! We bought our home at 12220 Prosser Dam Rd. in 1980 and it is still my home. Drought problems have persisted as long as I can remember. I have never been without water, even while watering a very large lawn. How do you explain that??? There haven't been that many more houses built in the Prosser Dam Rd. area since then and nothing even remotely compared with several 18 hole golf course and the already existing hundreds of new and hundreds of planned dwellings in the overall areas of Truckee, Tahoe Donner, Glenshire, Lahontan, etc. Certainly professionals could provide a very good idea as to what the water requirements are for all these projects in a very arid environment and we homeowners should have available this kind of information. What are you wonderful people at the PUD going to do about our shortage of water, our need to drill deeper and some of us having to drill a whole new well at quite some cost? Where do the golf courses get their water from? And those proposed hundreds and hundreds of new houses? I sincerely feel that YOU are responsible for what is happening in our area and we all expect some permanent solutions. Sincerely, Heidi Senglaub 12220 Prosser Dam Rd.
