Public input — This time is set aside for the public to address the Board on any matter not on the agenda. Testimony related to any agendized matter should be addressed at the time that item is considered. ACTION ITEMS (Action item discussions will utilize the following format: (a) staff report, (b) public input, and (c) Board discussion and action 4. Consideration of approving a Request for Proposals (RFP) from executive search firms for the anticipated vacancy of the General Manager position. a.) This item relates to beginning the process of potentially securing the services of an executive recruiting firm, through the RFP process, to assist the Board in recruiting a new District General Manager. 5. Review of the draft audit report for 2006, possible action. a. This item relates to a presentation by the District's auditors regarding their findings in conducting the audit for the District's 2006 financial statements. 6. Consideration of a report on bids received and possible award of a contract for purchase of a forklift. a. This item relates to possible purchase of a forklift to replace a 22 year old unit. 7. Consideration of a report on the purchase of a cab and chassis through the State of California CMAS purchasing program. a. This item relates to possible purchase of an International 7300 one ton cab and chassis which will be installed an existing electric system two man bucket lift. 8. Consideration of issuing a Request for Proposals for provision of hydrogeologic services. a. This item relates to retaining the services of a hydrogeologic consulting firm to help the District develop new water supply sources. 9. Consideration of an Initial Environmental Study and draft Negative Declaration for the proposed Pioneer Drive Conduit Installation project a. This item involves filing the proposed negative declaration and environmental initial study with the Office of the Nevada County Clerk, with responsible and interested agencies, and with the State Clearinghouse; authorizing publication a notice of public review period and public hearing on the proposed negative declaration and authorizing staff to set a public hearing date. This item relates to transferring funds from the water facilities fee fund to reimburse the District water general fund for expenditures that qualify for facility fees reimbursement. WORKSHOP ITEMS 11.Discussion of a draft energy conservation program. a. This item relates to possible adoption of an interim energy conservation plan including funding for rebates and other program elements. 12.Discussion of state mandated water consumer confidence report. a. This item relates to a discussion of the requirement to send a notice to water customers annually describing the District's water quality. ROUTINE BUSINESS 13.Treasurer's reports: a. Approval of the final Treasurer's report for December 31, 2006 b. Approval of Treasurer's report through March 31, 2007. c. Approval of March 2007 disbursements.
