REGULAR BOARD MEETING
6:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 5, 2021

AGENDA
As permitted by State of California Executive Order (EO) N-29-20, the Truckee Donner Public
Utility District Board meeting room will not be accessible to the public. Members of the Board
will be participating from separate remote locations.
The meeting is accessible for public observation via Tahoe Truckee Media (TTM) online at
https://ttm.open.media/?category=430 or cable TV channel 18. Public comment will be
accepted via email at shannakuhlemier@tdpud.org and via Zoom on any item on the agenda
until the Board President closes public comment on each item.

5. Public Comment – This is time set aside for the public to address the Board on any
matter not on the agenda. Testimony related to any agendized matter should be
addressed at the time that that item is considered.
(The public may comment on any subject that is not on the agenda. Each speaker will
be limited to three minutes, but speaker time may be reduced at the discretion of the
Board President if there are a large number of speakers on any given subject.)
DIRECTOR UPDATE
6. This item provides time for Directors to comment on any item within the purview of the
District.
GENERAL MANAGER UPDATE
7. This item provides time for the General Manager to update the Board.
CONSENT CALENDAR
9. Consideration to Schedule a Public Hearing Related to the Adoption of the General
Manager Employment Contract.
This item involves the process in scheduling a public hearing for the general
manager’s employment agreement.
10. Consideration for Approval of Amendment No.1 to the Interim General Manager
Employment Agreement.
This item involves the extension of the interim general manager employment
agreement through July 2, 2021, until a new general manager is contracted.

11. Consideration of Hiring an Additional Fleet Mechanic.
This item involves additional staffing needs for the District’s fleet services.
12. Consideration to Approve a Bilingual Pay Premium.
This item involves recognizing bilingual skill sets with a 5% increase.

13. Consideration of scheduling two Public Hearings on the 2020 Urban Water
Management Plan and the Water Shortage Contingency Plan.
This item involves the adopting the 2020 Urban Water Management Plan and
the Water Shortage Contingency Plan.
14. Consideration of the Truckee Tahoe Workforce Agency Budget.
This item involves the District’s participation of funding for the housing JPA.

15. 2020 Water Utility Consumer Confidence Reports.
This item involves the review of the water quality consumer confidence reports.
ROUTINE BUSINESS
16. Approval of the Treasurer’s Report: May 2021.
a) Approval of the Treasurer’s report of fund balances for the Month Ended
February 2021.
b) Approval of disbursement for March 31, 2021.0
17. Approval of the March 3, 2021, March 31, 2021, April 1, 2021, April 7, 2021, April 19,
2021, April 20, 2021, April 21, 2021, and April 22nd and April 23rd, 2021 minutes.
ADJOURNMENT
The agenda is available for review at the TDPUD administrative office and the District’s
internet website. Posted on Friday, April 30, 2021.

administrative office located at 11570 Donner Pass Road. Public participation is encouraged. The meeting
