Consideration to Adopt Resolution 2018-25 Commending Steve
Trevino for His Many Years of Service
CONSENT
1. WHY THIS MATTER IS BEFORE THE BOARD
This matter involves consideration of Resolution 2018-25 (Attachment 1) recognizing
Steve Trevino for his many years of service to the District on the occasion of his
retirement.
2. HISTORY
Steve started his career at PG&E after earning his Associates of Arts degree in 1980.
He served as District Engineer performing design work for large residential and
commercial developments. In 1990 he took a position as Assistant Engineer for the
Lassen Municipal Utility District (LMUD). He eventually became Engineer and then
served for over 10 years as Electric Operations Manager for LMUD.
Steve was hired by the District on May 29, 2007 as the Electric Superintendent. In
almost 12 years of service, Steve, by his knowledge and commitment to safety, has
earned the respect, admiration, and loyalty of electric crew personnel and his peers.
He is generous with his time and knowledge, actively helping others to rise to their
potential and succeed in their work at the District.
3. NEW INFORMATION
During Steve's almost twelve years of employment at the District he has:
Demonstrated a superior work ethic;
Earned the respect and admiration of his fellow employees and the electric crew
personnel; and
His advice has been valued by staff throughout his career.
Staff describes him as dedicated, genuine, knowledgeable and supportive. Staff
wishes Steve the very best in retirement.
4. FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this agenda item.

5. RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution 2018-25 recognizing Steve Trevino for his many years of service.

Commending Steve Trevino for His Many Years of Service
WHEREAS Steve Trevino has been an employee of the District since May 29, 2007; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure of employment at the District, Steve has been an invaluable a sset to the
District, its customers, and the community; and
WHERAS Steve has successfully held the position of Electric Superintendent for his entire career at the
District; and
WHEREAS, Steve is helpful, dedicated and has a positive disposition; and
WHEREAS, Steve has been a trusted member of the District and his advice has been valued by staff
throughout his career; and
WHEREAS, Steve’s ethical behavior and dependability has established a standard that will guide District
staff for years to come; and
WHEREAS, Steve has contributed to the success of the District in many ways ; and
WHEREAS, Steve has earned the respect and deep admiration of his fellow employees and of the
Board; and
WHEREAS, Steve has announced his retirement to be effective on December 21, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors wishes to express its appreciation and gratitude for the performance
of Steve Trevino and for his many years of service to the District and our customers.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIR ECTORS OF THE DISTRICT THAT:
Steve Trevino has the best of luck and happiness in his retirement; and
Steve Trevino be commended for his invaluable contribution to the success of the District, for his
exceptional service which stands as a model for others t o emulate and for the friendship we
continue to share with him.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors at a meeting duly called and held within the District
on the fifth day of December, 2018 by the following roll call vote:
