BOARD MEETING
6:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2020

AGENDA
The State of California Executive Order (EO) N-29-20 proclaimed a State of Emergency State
due to COVID-19. As outlined and permitted by the EO N-29-20, the Truckee Donner Public
Utility District Board meeting room will not be accessible to the public. Members of the Board
will be participating from separate remote locations.
The meeting is accessible for public observation via Tahoe Truckee Media (TTM) online at
http://ttctv.org/live-meeting/truckee-donner-public-utility-district/ or cable TV channel 18.
Public comment will be accepted via email at shannakuhlemier@tdpud.org and via Zoom
questions and answers on any item on the agenda until the Board President closes public
comment on each item.

5. Public Input – This is time set aside for the public to address the Board on any matter
not on the agenda. Testimony related to any agendized matter should be addressed
at the time that that item is considered.
(The public may comment on any subject that is not on the agenda. Each speaker will
be limited to three minutes, but speaker time may be reduced at the discretion of the
Board President if there are a large number of speakers on any given subject.)
DIRECTOR UPDATE
6. This item provides time for Directors to comment on any item within the purview of the
District.
CONSENT CALENDAR
7. Consideration to Adopt the 2020 Wildfire Mitigation Plan
This item is before the Board for approval of the annual update of the Wildfire
Mitigation Plan (WMP) as required by Senate Bill 901.
8. Consideration of Scheduling a Public Hearing Related to Adoption of the Annual
Electric and Water Standby Charges.
This item involves an annual routine public hearing to review existing Electric
and Water standby charges.
9. Consideration to Schedule a Public Hearing Related to Adoption of the General
Manager’s Employment Contract.

This item involves setting a Public Hearing to adopt the General Managers
Contract.
10. Consideration to Confirm the Report-Out of Closed Session for April 27, 2020 and
April 28, 2020.
This item concerns ensuring transparency for closed session report-outs.
11. Consideration for Designation of Labor Negotiators for the General manager’s
Employment Contract.
This item involves appointing two Board of Directors to negotiate the General
Manager’s Employment Contract.

12. Approval of the Minutes of April 15, 2020 regular and special meetings, April 27, 2020
and April 28, 2020 special meetings.

13. Closed Session Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6, Conference with

agenda item 11 above; Unrepresented employee: General Manager

The agenda is available for review at the TDPUD administrative office and the District’s

administrative office located at 11570 Donner Pass Road. Public participation is encouraged. The meeting
