Home My WebLink AboutRES 2020-12 - BoardResolutionNo.2020-12ContinuingandFixingWaterStandbyChargesFortheFiscalYear2020-2021WHEREAS,onFebruary18,1975,theBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictdulyadoptedOriinanceNo.7501fixingWaterStandbyChargesonlandswithintheDistrictboundariesandprovidingameansforcollectionthereof;andWHEREAS,onAugust16,1982,theBoardofDirectorsadoptedResolutionNo.8240amendingOrdinance7501toincludePlaceraswellasNevadaCounty;andWHEREAS,onMarch18,1991,theBoardofDirectorsadoptedOrdinanceNo.9103amendingOrdinanceNo.7501andResolutionNo.8240totheextentthatsuchordinanceandresolutionconcernthefixingofWaterStandbyChargesintheCountyofNevada;andWHEREAS,onApril8,1991,theBoardofDirectorsadoptedOrdinanceNo.9105amendingOrdinanceNo.7501andResolutionNo.8240totheextentthatsuchordinanceandresolutionconcernthefixingofwaterstandbychargesintheCountyofPlacer;andWHEREAS,OrdinanceNo.7501prescribesthatimplementationoftheactualchargesshallbemadebyresolutionoftheBoardforeachfiscaltaxyear;andWHEREAS,feesauthorizedbythisresolutionshallnotbecharged,assessed,leviedandcollectedintheDistrict’sDonnerLakeorGlenshireServiceareas.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictasfollows:1.TheWaterStandbyChargeforthefiscaltaxyear2020-2021shallbethesumof$80forallparcelsregardlessofsize.2.TheDistrictshalldeterminethelandstobeaffectedtherebyforthecurrentfiscalyear,whichshallnotincludelandsinDonnerLakeorGlenshireServiceareas,andthechargestobeassessed,leviedandcollectedonthelandsandparcels,anduponthecompletionthereofasubsequentResolutionshallbeapprovedfixingandplacingtheWaterStandbyChargesontheDistricttaxrollforcollectionbyPlacerandNevadaCounties.3.CertifiedcopiesofthisresolutionbeforwardedtotheCountyAuditoroftheCountyofPlacerandtheCountyAuditoroftheCountyofNevada.PASSEDANDADOPTEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictatameetingheldwithintheDistrictonMay20,2020bythefollowingrollcallvote:AYES:Directors:Laliotis,Ellis,VicePresidentFinn,andPresidentBenderNOES:ABSENT:DirectorAgueraTRUCKEEDONNERPUBLICUTILITYDISTRICTBy__JeffBerir,fesident______ATShannaD.KuhlemierCMCDistrictClerk
