Home My WebLink AboutRES 2019-06 - BoardResolutionNo.2019-06ContinuingandFixingElectricStandbyChargesfortheFiscalYear2019-2020WHEREAS,onFebruary18,1975,theBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictdulyadoptedOrdinanceNo.7501fixingElectricStandbyChargesonlandswithintheDistrictboundariesandprovidingameansforcollectionthereof;andWHEREAS,onAugust16,1982,theBoardofDirectorsadoptedResolutionNo.8240amendingOrdinance7501toincludePlaceraswellasNevadaCounty;andWHEREAS,OrdinanceNo.7501prescribesthatimplementationoftheactualchargesshallbemadebyresolutionoftheBoardforeachfiscalyear.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictasfollows:1.TheElectricStandbyChargeforthefiscaltaxyear2019-2020shallbethesumof$20foranyparcelconsistingofoneacreormore,andthesumof$10foranyparceloflessthanoneacre.2.TheDistrictshalldeterminethelandstobeaffectedtherebyforthecurrentfiscalyearandthechargestobeassessed,leviedandcollectedonthelandsandparcels,anduponthecompletionthereofasubsequentResolutionshallbeapprovedfixingandplacingtheelectricalstandbychargesontheDistricttaxrollforcollectionbyPlacerandNevadaCounties.3.CertifiedcopiesofthisResolutionaretobeforwardedalongwiththedirectchargestotheCountyAuditoroftheCountyofPlacerandtheCountyAuditoroftheCountyofNevada.PASSEDANDADOPTEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictatameetingheldwithintheDistrictonMay1,2019bythefollowingrollcallvote:AYES:NOES:ABSENT:TRUCKEEDONNERPUBLICUTILITYDISTRICTBy___________BobEllis,PresidentAflEST://,1,n1/711i74J/ShannaD.Kuhlemier,CMC,DistrictClerk
