Home My WebLink AboutRES 2018-13 - Board,;_TRUCKEEDONNERbcUtityDtrtctResolutionNo.2018-13FixingandPlacingaSpecialTaxLevyonCommunityFacilitiesDistrictNo..04-1(Gray’sCrossing)forCollectionbytheCountyofNevadaWHEREAS,onJuly21,2004,theBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictdulyadoptedOrdinanceNo.2004-02,authorizingthelevyofaspecialtaxwithinsaidCommunityFacilitiesDistrictNo.04-1(GraysCrossing)andprovidingameansforcollectionthereof;andWHEREAS,byResolutionNo.9723adoptedNovember5,1997,theBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictapprovedexecutionofacontinuousStandardFormTaxCollectionServicesContracVwiththeCountyofNevada;andWHEREAS,theDistricthasnowdeterminedthelandsaffectedtherebyandthechargestobeassessed,leviedandcollectedonthelandsandparcels;andWHEREAS,thetaxesoneachparcelshallbebilledonthesecuredtaxrollbillsforthefiscalyear2018-2019.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictasfollows:I.ThattheBoardofSupervisorsofthCountyofNevada,StateofCalifornia,levyaspecialtaxagainsttheparcelsaidownersofrecordlistedonthecomputeritemizationofparcelskeptandmaintainedintheAdministrativeServicesDepartmentoftheDistrictandmadeaparthereofbyreference,andthattheCountyAuditorandTaxCollectorbeinstructedtolevyandcollectsaidchargesinthesamemannerasCountytaxesasbylawandinsaidordinanceprovide.UponcompletionandcorrectionofthecdrrentlistthroughJune30,2018,acopywillbeforwardedtotheAuditorControlleroftheCounty.2.TheDistrictwarrantsandrepresentsthatchargesimposedbytheDistrictandbeingrequestedtobecollectedbyNevadaCountycomplywithallrequirementsofstatelaw,includingbutnotlimit?dtoArticlesXIIICandXllIDoftheCaliforniaConstitution(Proposition218).1 3.ThatacertifiedcopyofthisresolutionbeforwardedtotheCountyAuditoroftheCountyofNevada.PASSEDANDADOPTEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictatameetingheldwithinsaidDistrictonJune6,2018bythefollowingrollcallvote:AYES:Directors:Aguera,Ellis,Bender,VicePresidentWarmerdam,andPresidentLaliotis.NOES:None.ABSENT:None.TRUCKEEDONNERPUBLICUTILITYDISTRICTByTonyLaliotis,PresidentATTEST:t//,c,AL£S’hannaD.Kuhiemier,CMC,DistrictClerk2
