Home My WebLink AboutRES 2016-10 - Board1RUCKEEDONNERPublicUtilityDistrictResolutionNo.2016-10ContinuingandFixingElectricStandbyChargesfortheFiscalYear2016-2017WHEREAS,onFebruary18,1975,theBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictdulyadoptedOrdinanceNo.7501fixingElectricStandbyChargesonlandswithintheDistrictboundariesandprovidingameansforcollectionthereof;andWHEREAS,onAugust16,1982,theBoardofDirectorsadoptedResolutionNo.8240amendingOrdinance7501toincludePlaceraswellasNevadaCounty;andWHEREAS,OrdinanceNo.7501prescribesthatimplementationoftheactualchargesshallbemadebyresolutionoftheBoardforeachfiscalyear.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictasfollows:1.TheElectricStandbyChargeforthefiscalyear2016-2017shallbethesumof$20foranyparcelconsistingofoneacreormore,andthesumof$10foranyparceloflessthanoneacre.2.TheDistrictshalldeterminethelandstobeaffectedtherebyforthecurrentfiscalyearandthechargestobeassessed,leviedandcollectedonthelandsandparcels,anduponthecompletionthereofasubsequentresolutionshallbeapprovedfixingandplacingtheelectricalstandbychargesontheDistricttaxrollforcollectionbyPlacerandNevadaCounties.3.CertifiedcopiesofthisresolutionaretobeforwardedalongwiththedirectchargestotheCountyAuditoroftheCountyofPlacerandtheCountyAuditoroftheCountyofNevada.PASSEDANDADOPTEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictatameetingheldwithintheDistrictonMay4,2016bythefollowingrollcallvote:AYES:Directors:Warmerdam,Laliotis,Ellis,andVicePresidentBender.NOES:NoneABSENT:PresidentAgueraTRUCKEEDONNERPUBLICUTILITYDISTRICT(By.fJtBVicePresidentATTEST:k,,.—---——MichaelD.Holley,DistrictClerk
