Home My WebLink AboutRES 2016-11 - BoardTRUCKEEDONNERPublicUtilityDistrictCResolutionNo.2016-11ContinuingandFixingWaterStandbyChargesfortheFiscalYear2016-2017WHEREAS,onFebruary18,1975,theBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtihtyDistrictdulyadoptedOrdinanceNo.7501fixingWaterStandbyChargesonlandswithintheDistrictboundariesandprovidingameansforcollectionthereof;andWHEREAS,onAugust16,1982,theBoardofDirectorsadoptedResolutionNo.8240amendingOrdinance7501toincludePlaceraswellasNevadaCounty;andWHEREAS,onMarch18,1991,theBoardofDirectorsadoptedOrdinanceNo.9103amendingOrdinanceNo.7501andResolutionNo.8240totheextentthatsuchordinanceandresolutionconcernthefixingofWaterStandbyChargesintheCountyofNevada;andWHEREAS,onApril8,1991,theBoardofDirectorsadoptedOrdinanceNo.9105amendingOrdinanceNo.7501andResolutionNo.8240totheextentthatsuchordinanceandresolutionconcernthefixingofwaterstandbychargesintheCountyofPlacer;andWHEREAS,OrdinanceNo.7501prescribesthatimplementationoftheactualchargesshallbemadebyresolutionoftheBoardforeachfiscalyear;andWHEREAS,feesauthorizedbythisresolutionshallnotbecharged,assessed,leviedandcollectedinthecDistrict’sDonnerLakeorGlenshireServiceareas.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictasfollows:I.TheWaterStandbyChargeforthefiscalyear2016-2017shallbethesumof$80forallparcelsregardlessofsize.2.TheDistrictshalldeterminethelandstobeaffectedtherebyforthecurrentfiscalyear,whichshallnotincludelandsinDonnerLakeorGlenshireServiceareas,andthechargestobeassessed,leviedandcollectedonthelandsandparcels,anduponthecompletionthereofasubsequentresolutionshallbeapprovedfixingandplacingtheWaterStandbyChargesontheDistricttaxrollforcollectionbyPlacerandNevadaCounties.3.CertifiedcopiesofthisresolutionbeforwardedtotheCountyAuditoroftheCountyofPlacerandtheCountyAuditoroftheCountyofNevada.PASSEDANDADOPTEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictatameetingheldwithintheDistrictonMay4,2016bythefollowingrollcallvote:AYES:Directors:Warmerdam,Laliotis,Ellis,andVicePresidentBender.NOES:NoneABSENT:PresidentAgueraTRUCKEEDONNERPUBLICUTILITYDISTRICTBy__________Jefferrr—VicePresidentATTEST:MichaelD.Holley,DistrictClerk
