ResolutionNorn201616FixingandPlacingaSpecialTaxLevyonCommunityFacilitiesDistrictNo.03-1(OldGreenwood)forCollectionbytheCountyofNevadaWHEREAS,onOctober14,2003,theBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictdulyadoptedOrdinanceNo.2003-04,authorizingthelevyofaspecialtaxwithinsaidCommunityFacilitiesDistrictNo.03-1(OldGreenwood)andprovidingameansforcollectionthereof;andWHEREAS,byResolutionNo.9723adoptedNovember5,1997,theBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictapprovedexecutionofacontinuousStandardFormTaxCollectionServicesContractwiththeCountyOfNevada;andWHEREAS,theDistricthasnowdeterminedthelandsaffectedtherebyandthechargestobeassessed,leviedandcollectedonthelandsandparcels;andWHEREAS,thetaxesoneachparcelshallbebilledonthesecuredtaxrollbillsforthefiscalyear2016-2017.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictasfollows:I.ThattheBoardofSupervisorsoftheCountyofNevada,StateofCalifornia,levyaspecialtaxagainsttheparcelsandownersofrecordlistedonthecomputeritemizationofparcelskeptandmaintainedintheAdministrativeServicesDepartmentoftheDistrictandmadeaparthereofbyreference,andthattheCountyAuditorandTaxCollectorbeinstructedtolevyandcollectsaidchargesinthesamemannerasCountytaxesasbylawandinsaidordinanceprovided.UponcompletionandcorrectionofthecurrentlistthroughJune30,2016,acopywillbeforwardedtotheAuditorControlleroftheCounty.2.TheDistrictwarrantsandrepresentsthatchargesimposedbytheDistrictandbeingrequestedtobecollectedbyNevadaCountycomplywithallrequirementsofstatelaw,includingbutnotlimitedtoArticlesXlllCandXIIIDoftheCaliforniaConstitution(Proposition218).1 C3.ThatacertifiedcopyofthisresoluflonbeforwardedtotheCountyAuditoroftheCountyofNevada.PASSEDANDADOPTEDbytheBoardofDirectorsoftheTruckeeDonnerPublicUtilityDistrictatameetingheldwithinsaidDistrictonJune1,2016bythefollowingrollcallvote:AYES:Directors:Ellis,Bender,Warmerdam,Laliotis,andPresidentAguera.NOES:None.ABSENT:None.TRUCKEEDONNERPUBLICUTILITYDISTRICTj?/1%By>-J%phguera,PrçsidentATTEST:7,MichaelD.HoIIey,DistrictClerk2
