Subject: Consideration of Increasing the 2015 Contract Amount for Traffic
Control Services
1. WHY THIS MATTER IS BEFORE THE BOARD
Board approval is required for expenditures in excess of $15,000.
2. HISTORY
The District awarded a contract for traffic control services at the June 8, 2015 Board
meeting in the amount of $40,000 for FY15.
3. NEW INFORMATION
A higher use of traffic control services has been experienced for the original projects
identifed. In conjuction, the District Water Department has made use of these efficient
and cost effective services, necessitating an increase in the contract limits.
4. FISCAL IMPACT
Sufficient funds exist in the approved FY15 Electric General Fund.
5. RECOMMENDATION
Authorize an increase to the 2015 contract amount for Traffic Control Services to
Road Safety Services by $40,000 with a not to exceed amount of $100,000 for FY15.
