HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 8111p I RESOLUTION NO. 8111 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT ESTABLISHING DISTKTCT POLICY REGARDING PROCEDURES FOR WATER SERVICE APPLICATION AND THE PROCESSING OF SAME WHEREAS, the public interest is to be served by a consistent, concise and understandable proceeding for processing water service applications; and WHEREAS, the extraordinary number of new water service applications now being received annually is over taxing the system used heretofore; and WHEREAS, there is a specific need for a policy that cannot be misunderstood by developers creating new projects within the Truckee Donner Public Utility District service area; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: 1. Every application for water service shall be classified by the nature of the service requested and the demand that the potential service could place on the community water system in accordance with the Classification Matrix attached as Exhibit "A". I 2. Every classified application for water service shall be processed in accordance with the specific activities as dictated by the Classi- fication Matrix. 3. Every classified application that will require a Developer's Agree- ment or the District issuance of a "Will Serve" letter shall be processed in accordance with the activities detailed on the Flow Chart attached ! iaretO as Exhibit "B". BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the General Manager shall develop operational methods for staff use to implement the intent of this policy which shall be ef- fective as of the date of adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District at a regular meeting held within said District on the 2nd day of February, 1981, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Duffy, Kuttel, Maass and Huber NOES: None.
