HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 8118}* RESOLUTION NO. ,/-'// OF THE I I I TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT AUTHORIZING FILING OF TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT PONDEROSA RANCHOS ANNEXATION WITH PLACER COUNTY LAFCo WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District has previously authorized the investigation of the feasibility of annexation of additional lands, and WHEREAS, the area located south of the existing District boundaries, with descriptions attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A," has been found feasible for annexation into the Truckee Donner Public Utility District; and WHEREAS, requests for annexing of the Ponderosa Ranchos Subdivision to the Truckee Donner Public Utility District were received from all owners of property within the subject area; and WHEREAS, the District Engineer has made various recommendations respecting the conditions of annexation; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows: That the staff of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District shall prepare all necessary documents for the proposed annexation which shall be titled Ponderosa Ranchos; That conditions of the proposed annexation shall be that the developers of the Ponderosa Ranchos Subdivision accomplish the following or provide the equivalent. 1. Refit the Southside Booster to provide greater capacity in accordance with the full development demands of the proposed subdivision. 2. Refit the Ponderosa Palisades Booster to provide greater capacity in accordance with the full development demands of the proposed subdivision. 3. Provide a loop tie between Ponderosa Drive and Evergreen Circle to provide additional distribution system capacity. 4. Provide an 8" diameter loop construction between the pro- posed developments and Silvertip Drive. 5. Provide a 100,000 gallon surface mounted storage tank at an approximate elevation of 6,390 MSL with appropriate piping. 6. Provide an 8" diameter loop construction connecting with the off-site loop described in Item 4 above. 7. Provide a 6" diameter loop construction throughout. 8. Provide a duplex booster station designed to function with Item Number 5. $P' I 9. Provide a surface mounted 200,000 gallon steel storage tank on the west parts of Lots 84 and 85 of Martis Woods Subdivision. Provide 150' x 150' deeded parcel for the booster in 3 above and the tank. 10. Facility fees shall be charged to the developments in accordance with the schedules and analysis provided in the guidelines, rules and regulations. 11. The developers shall be required to provide the necessary submissions as detailed in the guidelines and standards prior to the issuance of a will serve letter that would be tied to the development agreement as provided in the rules, regulations, standards and guidelines. Further, that the staff shall file said application of annexation with the LAFCo of Placer County. Craig, Deputy District Clerk I -2- $" EXHIBIT 'A' PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT I I DESCRIPTION Being a portion of Section 23, T.17N., R.16 E., M.D.B. & M., in the unincorporated territory of the County of Placer, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the South boundary of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District, said point being also the Southwest corner of the West half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 23, said point being also the Southeast corner of the Ponderosa Palisades South Unit No. 1 Subdivision, the Map of which was recorded in Map Book "H" at Page 50, Placer County Official Records, said point being also the Southwest corner of Parcel "C" of that Parcel Map recorded in Map Book 8 at Page 43, Placer County Official Records; thence along the Northerly Boundary of the Southerly half of the Northwest quarter of said Section 23, being also the existing District boundary and the Southerly boundary of said Parcel "C" to the Southeast corner of the West half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 23, being also the Southeast corner of said Parcel "C"; thence leaving said existing District boundary and continuing along said Northerly boundary of the South half of the Northwest quarter of Section 23 to the Southeast corner of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section 23; thence Southerly along the North-South center section line of said Section 23 to the center of said section; thence along the East- West center line of said Section 23 to the Southwest corner of its Northwest quarter, said point being on the existing District boundary; thence along said existing District boundary and the Westerly boundary of said Section 23, North 00°24'01" East, 1,363.39 feet to the Southwest corner of said Ponderosa Palisades South Unit No. 1 Subdivision; thence Easterly along said subdivisions Southerly boundary and the existing District boundary to the Point of Beginning of the annexation area herein described; containing 82.6 acres more or less.
