HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 81315 f RESOLUTION NO. 81jfc_ OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM RELATING TO TRUCKEE CROSSROADS SHOPPING CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF AN ELECTRICAL EASEMENT ASSOCIATED THEREWITH WHEREAS, FHK, Lucky Stores, Inc. and Longs Drug Stores, Inc., developers of Truckee Crossroads Shopping Center, located at Highway 89 and Deerfield Drive, Truckee, California, and the Truckee Donner Public Utility District entered into a Development Agreement dated September 9, 1980, calling for the construction of an electrical distribution system for said shopping center; and WHEREAS, the plans, specifications and contract documents for the construction of the electrical distribution system have been reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors; and WHEREAS, the construction and installation of the electrical distribution system has been completed by said developers' prime construction contractor Murchison Construction Company of Sacramento and various subcontractors; and WHEREAS, the District's staff has provided inspection of the electrical distribution system construction in progress by each contractor and subcontractor, and has further recommended that the electrical distribution system be accepted by the Truckee Donner Public Utility District for ownership, operation, and maintenance, pursuant to the development agreements; and WHEREAS, the developers of Truckee Crossroads Shopping Center have submitted to the District an Electric Easement, a copy of which is attached hereto marked Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows: 1. The Truckee Donner Public Utility District hereby accepts the primary electrical distribution system relating to the Truckee Crossroads Shopping Center; and 2. The Truckee Donner Public Utility District hereby accepts the Electrical Easement, marked Exhibit A to this Resolution.
