OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
AUTHORIZING INVITATION FOR BIDS ON
FIVE RESIDENTIAL PARCELS FOUND TO BE
UNNECESSARY FOR DISTRICT USE
WHEREAS, on April 7, 1981, the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner
Public Utility District found the following four parcels of unimproved real
property to be unnecessary for District use:
1. PARCEL A - Lot 9, Block 19, Lakeview Subdivision, AP#17-300-26,
located on the north side of Donner Lake between Reed and Donner
Avenues.

2. PARCEL F - A portion of Meadow Lake Park, AP#18-591-06, located
on Meadow Way 100 feet north of Rocky Lane.
3. PARCEL G - A portion of Meadow Lake Park, AP#18-592-04, located
on Meadow Way and Rocky Lane.
4. PARCEL J - A portion of Meadow Lake Park, AP#18-612-04, located
between Ridge and Glen Roads east of Meadow Way.

Donner Public UtiMtyf^District found the following parcel of unimproved real
property to be unnecessary for District use:
1. PARCEL C - A portion of the Ni Section 17, T. 17 N., R. 15 E.,
MDM, AP#18-500-05, located on Richards Blvd., Armstrong Tract,
north of Interstate 80 and Donner Pass Road overpass.
WHEREAS, the above described five parcels were offered to appropriate
agencies at fair market value in accordance with Section 54222 of the California
Government Code for possible park or recreation development, and such offers were
rejected;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner
Public Utility District as follows:
1. The Clerk of the Board is hereby directed to issue an invitation
for bids on Parcels, A, C, F, G and J, and to sell the same to the
highest bidder subject to approval and ratification by the Board
of Directors.
2. The Board will not accept any bid which it determines to be below
the fair market value. In accordance with the April 16, 1981, and

fair market value of the five parcels is as follows:

That each bidder must submit with his bid a certificate of deposit,
certified check or bid bond in a sum equal to 10% of the bid. Said
deposit, check or bond shall be forfeited in the event that the bid-
der is awarded the bid and fails to tender payment and accept the
same within sixty (60) days after the award.
Sealed bids will be accepted up until the hour of 4:00 P.M. on the

The Board of Directors specifically reserves the right to reject any
and all bids, waive irregularities or informalities in any or all bids,
be the sole judge of the suitability of any bid, and to accept any bid
that it determines to be in its best interest.

INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Truckee Dormer Public
Utility District, 11570 Donner Pass Road, Post Office Box 309, Truckee, California
95734, is accepting sealed bids up to the hour of 4:00 P.M. on the date of tft/4t>s7~'
/ 4^ 1981, for the following residential parcels which the Board has declared un-
necessary for District use:
1. PARCEL A - Lot 9, Block 19, Lakeview Subdivision, AP#17-300-26,
located on the north side of Donner Lake between Reed and Donner
Avenues. Minimum bid - $14,000.
2. PARCEL C - A portion of the N} Section 17, T. 17 N., R. IS E.,
MDM, AP#18-500-05, located on Richards Blvd., Armstrong Tract,
north of Interstate 80 and Donner Pass Road overpass. Minimum

3. PARCEL V - A portion of Meadow Lake Park, APH8-591-06, located
on Meadow Way 100 feet north of Rocky Lam:. Minimum bid - $10,000.
4. PARCEL G - A portion of Meadow Lake Park, AP#18-592-04, located
on Meadow Way and Rocky Lane. Minimum bid - $17,000.
5. PARCEL J - A portion of Meadow Lake- Park, AP#18-Gl2-04, located
between Ridge and Glen Roads ease of Meadow Way. Minimum bid -
$12,000.
Each bidder must submit with his bid a certificate of deposit, certified check or
bid bond in a sum equal to 10% of the bid. Said deposit, check or bond shall be
forfeited in the event that the bidder is awarded the bid and fails to tender pay-
ment and accept the same within sixty (GO) days after the award.
Prospective bidders are asked to contact Susan Craig, Deputy District Clerk of the
TDPUD at the above address, or to telephone (916) 587-3896, for additional informa-
tion respecting the sale of these four parcels.
The Truckee Donner Public Utility District specifically reserves the right to
reject any and all bids, waive irregularities or informalities in any or all bids,
be the sole judge of the suitability of any bid, and to accept any bid that it
determines to be in its best interest.
