TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT

COMMENDING THE WESTERN AREA POWER ADMINISTRATION
PROPOSED ALLOCATION PLAN OF JULY 2, 1981, AND
FINDING IT TO BE EQUITABLE, FAIR AMD RESPONSIVE
TO THE NEEDS OF CONCERNED ENTITIES
WHEREAS, the Truckee Dormer Public Utility District is a preference
agency established in 1927 and located in northern California; and
WHEREAS, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District has a current
load of some 15,000 kilowatts serving over 5,000 customers, 4,000 of
which are residential consumers; and •
WHEREAS, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District's present system
serves an area with over 8,000 undeveloped residential building sites; and
WHEREAS, the Western Area Power administration's allocation plan of-
fers the most equitable distribution of power to the most potenti tl users;
and
WHEREAS, the Western Area Power Adainistl ition's plan offers coopera-
tion and assistance in the transmission md distribution of power allot-
ments to the various al lotteo.s;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board f Directors of the Truckee
Donner Public Utility District as follows;
1. That the Board, on this date, lias determined the Power
Marketing Plan prepared by the Western Area Power Ad-
ministration on June 2, 1981, to be commendable.
That the formulation of the proposed allocation plan set
forth in the June _', 1981, Powei Marketing Plan prepared
by the Western Area power Administration is the most eq-
uitable, fair and responsive to the needs of all concern-
ed entities presented to the District up to this time.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner
Public Utility District at a regular meeting thereof duly called and held
