Th<_- special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donnet Public
Utility District was called to order by President Huber at 3s36 P.M. in the Dis-
trict Board room.
ROLL CALL: Directors Corbett, Kuttel and Huber were present. Director Duffy-
arrived at approximately 3:45 P.M. Director Maass was absent.
EMPLOYEES PRESENT: Present were D. Eugene Holt, Bruce Grow, Mary Chapman and
Susan Craig.
CONSULTANTS PRESENT: Special Counsel John Phelps arrived at 3:40 P.M.
OTHERS PRESENT: There were no others present at the meeting.
DISCUSSION OF VARIOUS LEAKS IN TDPUD OFFICE.; AND WAREHOUSE - POSSIBLE ACTION
AND/OR DIRECTION
It was noted that the office is leaking in the Bookkeeping Department, the
Front Office, Office Manager's office, above the table in the Rcird room, over
the new computer and in tile hallway. The warehouse is leaking ilong the front
wall, and on both sides of the warehouse office as well as several spots in the
open warehouse area. Various methods of repair were discussed by the Board and
General Manager. By consensus, the Manager was directed to obtain a quote on
placing polyethelyne sheeting along the office rafters to protect the equipment
and offices. As long as this temporary repair can be done for less than $4,000,
Mr. Holt is to go forward with the work. President Huber requested that discus-
sion of permanently repairing or replacing the roof be placed on the agenda in
February of 1982.

President Huber adjourned the meeting to closed session at 4:03 P.M. I >i
the purpose of discussing Union negotiations.
RETURN TO PUBLIC SESSION - POSSIBLE DIRECTION AND/OR ACTION
At 6:22 P.M., President Huber returned the meeting to public session.
UNION NEGOTIATIONS
Director Corbett moved, and Director Duffy seconded, that Special Counsel
Phelps convey to the Union the Board's unanimous proposal along with the job
descriptions on December 2nd. SO MOVED BY CONSENSUS.
CIVIL SERVICE/DISCIPLINARY ACTION PROCEDURE
President Huber requested that consideration of the civil service/dis-
ciplinary action procedure be placed on the December 7th meeting agenda.

There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
at 6:23 P.M.
