AJMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6701, RULE XII,
DISCONTINUANCE AND RESTORATION OF SERVICE
BE IT ENACTFD by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public
Utility District as follows:
Electric Rule XII, Discontinuance and Restoration of Service, adopted
by Resolution No. 6701 on February 1, 1967, is hereby amended on the effective
date of this Ordinance as follows:
Discontinuance of Service by District: The District may discontinue or
refuse to establish or restore electric service for any one or more of the
reasons contained in this Rule and Regulation. Except as otherwise specifically
provided herein, five days written notice will be given before service is dis-
continued.

1. Non-payment of Bills: The District may discontinue or refuse service
a customer has not paid his bills for electric service, or has not paid

reconnection charges, or has not made cash deposit as required by the District
in accordance with the provisions of Rules and Regulations No. 5.
2. Unsafe or Illegal Apparatus: The District may discontinue or refuse
service if any part of customer's wiring or equipment, or use thereof, is either
unsafe or in violation of law, until such apparatus is placed in a safe condi-
tion or the violation remedied.
3. Service Detrimental to Other Customers: The District may discontinue
or refuse service if, in District's judgment, the operation of customer's eq-
uipment is or will be detrimental to the service of other customers.
4. Fraud: Tlie District may discontinue service without notice or refuse
service if the customer's actions or the condition of his premises is such as
to indicate his intent to defraud the District.
5. Failure to Establish or Re-establish Credit: The District may dis-
continue or refuse service if customer fails to establish credit in accordance
with Rule and Regulation No. 5.
C. Discontinuance of Service: District may discontinue or refuse service
if customer does not comply with District's rules and regulations, or for non-
payment of bills. If, in District's judgment, operation of customer's equip-
ment constitutes a dangerous condition, District may discontinue service with-
out notice.

7. Restoration of Service: Whether at customer's request or due to non-
payment of bills, or non-compliance with District rules, the District may charge
not more than $/_£ for re-connection of service during regular working hours,
or not more than $SZ>^e during a period other than regular hours.
BE IT FURTHER ENACTED that the Clerk of the District shall immediately cause
a copy of this ordinance to be published once in the local newspaper and copies
shall be posted in at least three public places within the District.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public
Utility District at a regular meeting thereof duly called and held within said
