SJ/£, OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT ESTABLISHING POLICY RESPECTING THE DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS INVENTORY, MATERIALS, OFFICE EQUIPMENT AND VEHICLES WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District that a policy regarding the disposal of surplus inventory, materials, office equipment and vehicles should be established; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows: 1. Those items of inventory, materials, office equipment and vehicles considered by staff to be no longer nec- essary shall be listed on the appropriate form (Ex- hibit "A" attached hereto) and presented to the Manager. 2. When suitable, the Manager shall direct that a resolu- tion declaring the items surplus and issuing a call for bids be drawn up and placed on an agenda for Board re- view and approval. 3. The Manager shall advertise the sale of the surplus items in the appropriate newspapers and journals. 4. The bid opening date shall be as indicated on the pertinent resolution. I 5. In the event that bids are not received on some items, the Manager is hereby authorized to dispose ot such items at his discretion.
