HomeMy WebLinkAboutMeeting MinSPECIAL MEETING August 25, 1982 ,y i The special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Truckee Dormer Pub- lic Utility District was called to order by Vice President Corbett in the ab- sence of President Maass at 9:05 A.M. in the TDPUD Board room. ROLL CALL: Directors Corbett, Huber, Kuttel and VanLandingham were present. EMPLOYEES PRESENT: James Ward and Susan Craig were present. CONSULTANTS PRESENT: There were no consultants present. OTHERS PRESENT: Among those present were Dave Aiello, John Scott and Larry Undercoffer. I I AIELLO/SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING PROJECT - CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTIONS_ APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE WATER AND ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS General Manager Ward reported that the 28 items listed on the water sys- tem punch list have been basically completed; all electrical punch list items have been accomplished to the satisfaction of the District; the as-builts have been received with only one small correction to be .rode; bonds have been posted and properly executed, all fees have been paid by the developer in accordance with the Aiello/TDPUD aqreement. The water system final inspection list was reviewed, and it was determined that the following items remain to be done: Item 15: Remove the water service from underneath the structural column supports for the walkways. Provide the appropriate number of services. Do not use plywood and other scrap building materials to set the finish grade of the replumbed services. Item 16: Remove the service line from underneath the structural supports and footings for the covered walkway. Provide the appropriate number of meter idlers. Item 21: Provide and install the irrigation supply system together with the approved backflow prevention device as indicated on the approved improve- ment plans. Item 29: Remove the construction debris, de-water the area and grade around the tri-valve installation at the 14" and 8" tee at the suuthside of Highway 267. The finished grade should be above the natural water service elevation that now exists. The area should be drained in back of the culvert approximately 100' to the west of the bog hole created by the south bore pit. Dave Aiello indicated that several of the items were not finished because the District Engineer was not available to give specific instructions, but will be accomplished within several weeks. He advised further that the construction debris has been removed, and the other items noted in No. 29 will be finished upon construction of the left turn lane. Larry Undercoffer, Nevada County Building Inspector, noted that he will be monitoring several of the remaining punch list items. Director Kuttel, upon reviewing the draft resolutions approving and ac- cepting the systems, requested that the documents be amended to include the developers' names as well as the project name. All other Directors were in agreement. Director Huber moved, and Director Kuttel seconded, that the Board adopt Resolution No. 8243 approving and accepting the electrical distribution system relating to the Aiello/Senior Citizen Housing Center. ROLL CALL: Maass, ab- sent; all other Directors, aye. SO MOVED. 8/25/82 Pg. 1 Director Huber moved that the Board adopt Resolution No. 8244 approving and accepting the water distribution system relating to the Aiello/Senior Citizen Housing Center on the condition that Items 15, 16 and 21 be completed by October 1, 1982, and that Item 29 be accomplished upon completion of the left turn lane. The motion was seconded by Director Kuttel. ROLL CALL: Maass, absent; all other Directors, aye. SO MOVED. ADJOURNMENT There being no closed session matters or further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 9:23 A.M.
