Subject: Consideration of an Ordinance Amending the Miscellaneous Fees
Schedule
1. WHY THIS MATTER IS BEFORE THE BOARD
Only the Board can amend an ordinance.
2. HISTORY
The Miscellaneous Fees Schedule was last revised in 2010. Staff has reviewed these
fees annually since then, but no changes were recommended in prior years.
At the May 1, 2013 Board Meeting, staff proposed revisions to the Miscellaneous Fees
Schedule and the Board scheduled a public hearing for June 5, 2013.
3. NEW INFORMATION
Information on this agenda item is being presented during the Public Hearing
presentation.
The following documents are attached:
Attachment 1 is a copy of the proposed ordinance; and
Attachment 2 is a copy of the proposed EXHIBIT A - Miscellaneous Fees Schedule.
If the proposed ordinance is adopted, it would be effective July 6, 2013.
4. FISCAL IMPACT
Changes to the Miscellaneous Fees Schedule are not expected to materially impact
the District.
5. RECOMMENDATION
Adopt the Ordinance amending the Miscellaneous Fees Schedule.
