Home My WebLink About4 Financial Status of Donner Lake Agenda Item Memorandum To: Board of Directors From: Mary Chapman Date: September 27, 2001 Subject: Financial Status of the Donner Lake Water System The bridge loan with US Bank for $7,000,000 will close on Monday, October 1, 2001. The first withdrawal will be for $2,800,000. This amount will be wired to the District's general fund on October 1. To date, we have spent $1,875,466.81 from the District's funds. We have received another $800,000 in invoices that are under review as of this memo. I have attached a list of the Donner Lake related work orders and the total spent to date on each one. Below is the first recap of the assessment district funds. Several of the assessments have been prepaid. John Murphy has told us that we can reimburse ourselves from these prepayments for the costs incurred that are not eligible for SRF funding. John will be sending us a letter to that affect. We will bring the board more information regarding these charges at a future meeting. There is a group of assessments that were rejected by Nevada County and Placer County from tax roll billings. Peter will be discussing those with you. This group totals $360,217.89. Muni Finance will manually bill the assessments that are determined to be valid as part of their services to the District. All of these properties were included with those that were liened. We will need to release the liens on those parcels that the Board decides to exempt from assessment.
