Subject: Adoption of an ordinance establishing an Electric Fee Schedule
Why this matter is before the Board: This matter involves holding a public hearing prior to
adopting an ordinance establishing an electric fee schedule ordinance. The board conducts
this hearing.
History: A work order process workshop was presented on August 2, 2006. It was agreed
that in order to streamline the process, certain billable items could be changed to a flat fee
charge rather than billing actual cost.
New information: Attached is a draft ordinance that establishes an electric fee schedule
ordinance.
Consideration:
Consideration of scheduling a public hearing on September 6, 2006 related to possible
adoption of an ordinance establishing an electric fee schedule for reimbursing the District fhte
cost of performing services requested by customers.

ESTABLISHING AN ELECTRIC FEE SCHEDULE
WHEREAS It has been determined that certain electrical costs should be changed to a flat fee rather than
billing the actual cost; and
WHEREAS, on September 6, 2006, a public hearing was held to receive comments from the public
concerning the fee schedule; and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District
as follows:
Effective October 16, 2006, the following electric fee schedule shall be effective.
ELECTRIC FEES
Overhead to Underground upgrade or relocate, up to 200 amp panel $1,212
$360
Overhead relocate
$1,800
400 amp upgrade
$750
Temporary overhead service
Section 3. If no protest is made pursuant to Public Utilities Code Section 16078,then this ordinance shall
be effective thirty days after adoption by the board of directors of the District.
Section 4. The Clerk of the District shall immediately cause a copy of this ordinance to be published in a
newspaper of general circulation and posted in three places within the District.
Section 5. The provisions of other Ordinances shall remain if effect to the extent that they do not conflict with
this ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District at a meeting
duly called and held within the District on the sixth day of September 2006 by the following roll call vote:
