Monthly Activity Report
Building and Grounds
Brad has been busy spot cleaning carpets and doing miscellaneous repairs through out
the building. With the snow melting so quickly the spring and summer projects are
beginning to appear.
The sidewalks have been swept and the never ending task of picking up trash continues
to be taken care of.
Purchasing and Warehousing
Over time the warehouse shelf supports suffer damage from the forklift. This winter it
was necessary to replace one of the rack supports. While replacing the support it was
necessary to remove material from all the effected shelves. In doing so a number of
pallets of out dated water material were discovered. Steps are being taken to declare
the material surplus, once that is completed, notification to special districts will occur.
Sue Camara has been working on gathering information for the upcoming audit at the
end of March.
Vehicle Maintenance
Chris completed the modifications to the new wire wheel truck and it seems that the
electric department is using the truck daily.
One of the Jimmies recently blew the engine; Chris and Pat Wagner are working on
installing a new engine. Replacing the engine in this Jimmie is much more cost efficient
than replacing the vehicle. We expect to get at least five more years out of the vehicle.
Chris is current in all services and BIT inspections.
