WHY THIS MATTER IS BEFORE THE BOARD Only the Board can appoint a District negotiator. 2. HISTORY hire Mutual When the District acquired Glens Water Company, the District acquired all ite located on The Strand near the Juniper well and pump sites. There is a pump s Hills Subdivision. 3. NEW INFORMATION Mr. Howard Henn currently owns the property that includes the District pump station site. The District currently holds an easement for this facility;see figure. Mr. Henn approached the District asking if the District might be interested in purchasing the portion of the parcel where the pump station is located. This portion of the property is split from the main part of the parcel by The Strand. The small parcel can not support any further development. 4. FISCAL IMPACT The fiscal impact is yet to be determined. 5. RECOMMENDATION Appoint the General Manger as the District's negotiator with Howard Henn concerning the purchase of the parcel located on The Strand in the Glenshire subdivision. Michael D.
