Holzmeister, 'General Manager SUBJECT.` STAFFREPORT AGENDA # STREET LIGHTING - I would like to work with a committee of the Board to re view an approach to pro viding street lighting in Truckee. We do not ha ve a policy enunciated by the Board that would help staff act on street lighting requests. There is now a controversy de veloping regarding installation ofa light at the intersection ofHighway 89 and Glenshire Drive. As I understand it, CalTrans wants TDPUD to install a light at that location and to bill Nevada County. We have no arrangement of any kind with Nevada County regarding street lighting. This may be our opportunity to open discussions with the County on the entire issue of street lighting in the Truckee community. DEEDS FOR MODESTO SKI CLUB, TDR&PD AND TDPUD - A few meetings ago a question was raiabd regarding the ownership of three parcels behind our headquarters building. I was asked to obtain copies ofthe deeds so we would better understand who had conveyed which parcels to whom. Attached are three deeds and a map that will help identify the specific parcels. AMERICAN MANAGEMENTASSOCM TIONSEMINAR-AMA is holding a seminar in San Francisco June 17 through 19 on building consensus, resolving conflict, team building, group interaction and the like. Given a#the changes going on at TDPUD and issues that are surfacing, I would like to attend this seminar and not attend the APPA conference in Washington. l think the AMA seminar will do more for us at this point. The total cost of the AMA seminar is $1,500; there are funds in my budget to cover this seminar. FINANCEREPORTS-Attached foryourre vieware the financial reports forMarch including an in vestment report, statement ofgeneral fund, water and electric balance sheets, water and electric Income statements and budget report.
