STAFF REPORT AGENDA
ITEM NO.
December 11, 1991
TO: Board of Directors
FROM: Peter Holzmeister, General manager
SUBJECT: staff Report
A Water quality report
Attached is the water quality report for November, 1991.
Everything was perfect during November.
B. Budget workshop
I will be trying to schedule a budget workshop. It may be
that we will be able to place it on the agenda of a regular
meeting, and keep the rest of the agenda to an absolute minimum.
That would allow all Directors to attend without imposing on their
schedules for a special meeting.
The water fund is still our challenge. There are some real
choices we can :Hake relating to programs, staffing levels, capital
improvements, equipment, and so on. If the Board takes the time to
discuss these issues with staff we will all be more secure in the
direction we are taking. There are also some alternative ways to
raise revenues that we should discuss to achieve the fairest
allocation of costs.
