WESTERN NEVADA SUPPLY 1,008.65 1,008.65 WATER DEPARTMENT SUPPLIES. ------------------------------------ 36,970.50 29,878.01 7,092.49 ORDINANCE NO. 9001 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT SETTING FORTH ELECTRIC CONNECTION AND FACILITIES FEES AND RESCINDING PREVIOUS RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES WHEREAS, AB 1600, which took effect on January 1, 1989, requires that, in charging facilities fees, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District shall treat all classes of customer equally; and WHEREAS, a review of the basis of the electrical facilities fees has revealed a discrepancy in the rate charged to the District's commercial/industrial customers and the residential customers; and WHEREAS, it is the District's intent to treat all customers equally; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows: 1.. As of the effective date of this ordinance, Ordinance 8404 and any other prior resolutions and ordinances pertaining to electric connection and facilities fees are rescinded and of no further force and effect. . 2 . The ELECTRIC CONNECTION AND FACILITIES FEES, a copy of which is attached hereto, shall become effective 30 days from the date this ordinance is adopted. 3. These fees shall be retroactive to January 1, 1989; the General Manager is hereby authorized to take action necessary to implement the terms of this ordinance. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District at a regular meeting thereof duly called and held within said District on the 4th day of September, 1990, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Aguera, Corbett, Curran and Maass. The initial charge for service to applicants under the District's electric tariff shall consist of a connection fee and, if applicable, a facilities fee as appears on the following page. The form of insurance shall be broad form comprehensive general liability which includes coverage for bodily injury, property damage, and products-completed operations, automobile liability where applicable; workers compensation. 2 . The minimum amount of insurance shall be $200, 000 per occurrence and $400, 000 in the aggregate. The General Manager shall consult with the insurance broker of record and/or an independent risk manager for advice on the insurance requirements for contracts that exceed $10, 000, or that pose risk that, in the judgment of the General Manager, warrant more than the minimum insurance. 3 . The General Manager shall, after consulting with the insurance broker of record . and/or an independent risk manager, specify insurance requirements in contracts he is authorized to let, or, in the case of contracts that must be let by Board action, the General Manager shall, after consulting with the insurance broker of record and/or an independent risk manager, recommend insurance requirements to the Board of Directors. Holzmeister, General Manager Subject: Staff report 1991 Budget Calendar Attached is the calendar I am suggesting for preparation of the 1991 budget. 2 . Financial reports Attached are the financial reports for District operations through July. The financial reports consist of electric and water balance sheets, electric and water income statements, statement of general fund and investment report. 3 . Water master Plan The water master plan is almost ready to be submitted to the Board in draft form. it will be an important document in preparation of the 1991 budget and in setting our facilities fees . 4 . Pro osition 55 The Department of Water Resources is in the final stages of completing our contract for Proposition 55 funding. By early October staff will be making presentations to the Board regarding a schedule of activities to implement Proposition 55.
