AGUERA ($385.00) , BANK CHARGES, THREE CARDS (42.20) --___---..--------------------------- 11,015. 10 4,610.30 6,404.80 RESOLUTION NO. 8913 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT DECLARING AN ELECTION BE HELD IN ITS JURISDICTION; REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF NEVADA COUNTY TO CONSOLIDATE WITH ANY OTHER ELECTION CONDUCTED ON SAID DATE; AND REQUESTING ELECTION SERVICES BY THE COUNTY CLERK WHEREAS, an election will be held within the Truckee Donner Public Utility District on November 7, 1989 for the purpose of electing two members to the District Board of Directors; and WHEREAS, whenever two or more elections are called to be held on the same day, in the same territory, or in part of the same territory, such elections should be consolidated; NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows: 1. That an election be held on November 7 , 1989 for the purpose of electing two members to the District Board of Directors. 2 . That the candidate is to pay for the publication of the candidate's statement, pursuant to Elections Code Section 10012. The limitation on the number of words that a candidate may use in his/her Candidate's Statement is 200 words. 3 . That the District agrees to reimburse the County of Nevada for the District's prorated share of the costs of the election. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility Distract at a meeting duly called and held within the District on the 15th day of May 1989, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Aguera, Corbett, Sutton, White and Maass. Craig, Deputy strict Clerk smc RESOLUTION NO. 8914 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT DECLARING AN ELECTION BE HELD IN ITS JURISDICTION,' REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF PLACER COUNTY TO CONSOLIDATE WITH ANY OTHER ELECTION CONDUCTED ON SAID DATE; AND REQUESTING ELECTION SERVICES BY THE COUNTY CLERK WHEREAS, it is the determination of said governing body that an election be held on November 7, 1989 for the purpose of electing two members at large for regular terms to the District Board of Directors; and WHEREAS, there are no measures to be submitted to the voters of the District; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Placer is hereby requested to: 1. Consolidate said election with any other applicable election conducted on the same day. 2 . Authorize and direct the County Clerk, at governing body expense, to provide all necessary election services which shall include but not be limited to publishing the Notice of Election, issuing nomination papers, checking petition signatures; printing and mailing sample ballots; printing official ballots; providing precinct supplies; appointing and training Election Officers, obtaining and renting polling places; preparing voter indexes, publishing the list of Election Officers/polling places, mailing appropriate notification/verifications notices for polling places/precinct boards, processing absentee ballots, providing voter count by precinct and canvassing the results of said election. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the candidate is to pay for the publication of the candidate' s statement pursuant to Elections Code Section 10012 .
