RESOLUTION NO. 8937
OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
SETTING FORTH POLICY ON USE OF
FACSIMILE SIGNATURE STAMPS
WHEREAS, the Directors of the TDPUD are authorized to sign checks
on behalf of the District; and
WHEREAS, the General Manager of the TDPUD is authorized to sign
payroll checks and customer refund checks; and
WHEREAS, some of the Directors and General Manager find it
convenient, cost effective and a considerable time savings to use
a facsimile signature stamp; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors wishes and intends to regulate the
procedure for use of facsimile signature stamps in order to
maintain proper security and prudent controls;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the
0 Truckee Donner Public Utility Distract as follows:
1.. The Directors and General Manager are authorized to use
a facsimile signature stamp for the signing of checks,
and only for the signing of checks, unless otherwise
specifically authorized.
2 . Each Director having a signature stamp and the General
Manager are responsible for providing for the proper care
and security of his or her signature stamp.
3 . Neither the Directors nor the General Manager shall allow
any other person to use his or her signature stamp.
4 . In the event that a signature stamp becomes lost, the
person whose stamp it is shall immediately notify the
District Clerk and the banks upon which the District
checks are drawn to terminate the acceptance of facsimile
signatures for that person.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner
Public Utility District at a meeting duly called and held within
the District on the 4th day of December 1989 by the following roll
call vote:
AYES: Aguera, Corbett, Curran, Sutton and Maass.
NOES: Nome.

RESOLUTION NO. 8938
OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
AUTHORIZING TRUCKEE RIVER BANK TO HONOR
CERTAIN FACSIMILE SIGNATURES
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner
Public Utility District as follows:
1. That Truckee River Bank be, and is hereby, authorized and
directed to honor as genuine and authorized instruments
of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District any and all
checks, drafts and/or other orders for the payment of
money drawn in the name of the District and bearing or
purporting to bear the facsimile signatures of any of the
following:
Joseph Aguera Sohn L. Corbett
Richard Curran James A. Maass
Peter L. Holzmeister Patricia Sutton
regardless of by whom or by what means the actual or
purported facsimile signature thereon may have been
affixed thereto.
2 . That the Truckee Donner Public Utility District assumes
full responsibility for any payments made by said Truckee
River Bank, in reliance upon the actual or purported
facsimile signature of any person or persons named in the
foregoing resolution and agrees to indemnify and hold
harmless the said Truckee River Bank against any and all
loss, cost, damage or expense suffered or incurred by
said Truckee River Bank arising out of the misuse or
unlawful or unauthorized use by any person of such
facsimile signature, regardless of by whom or by what
means the actual or purported facsimile signature thereon
may have been affixed thereto, and also agrees to
indemnify and hold said Truckee River Bank harmless of
and from all claims arising out of forged endorsements
to checks, drafts and/or other orders for the payment of
money signed by a facsimile signature machine or device
while it is in the hands of a thief or other unauthorized
person. Truckee River Bank shall also have all
protection against forged endorsements granted to it by
MSA 10. 3405 and its sub-sections.
3 . That the Clerk of the District be and is hereby
authorized and directed to deliver to said Truckee Raver
Bank specimens of the facsimile signatures of the persons
named.

Public Utility District at a meeting duly called and held within
the District on the 4th day of December 1989 by the following roll

RESOLUTION NO. 8939
OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
CALLING FOR BIDS ON A
LIFTING DEVICE
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public
Utility District has determined the need to purchase a moveable
steel gantry With a two ton electric chain hoist for use throughout
the facility at a cost of approximately $6, 000; and
WHEREAS, funds for the purchase of such equipment has been set
aside in the budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the
Truckee Donner Public Utility District does hereby authorize the
President to issue a call for bids based on the specifications
drawn up by the Electrical Engineer and attached hereto, and that
the date and time established for the bid opening is Wednesday,
December 27, 1989 at 2 : 00 P.M.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner
Public Utility District at a regular meeting thereof duly called
and held in the District on the 4th day of December 1989 by the
following roll call vote:
