The successful bidders will be issued blanket purchase orders for the wire. Authorization to ship against these purchase orders will be issued from time to time. Equipment other than that indicated in the call for bids also may be ordered periodically. The District does not guarantee that it will purchase the quantity specified. It will, however, purchase the wire required from the supplier selected unless the supplier cannot meet the District's needs.
