Subject: Time of regular Board meetings
Why this matter is before the Board: The Board of Directors asked this matter come
back for review after six months of being in force.
History: Ordinance 2007-02 was passed July 18, 2007, amending the District By-Laws
changing the start time of regular Board meetings from the current practice of 7:00 PM
to 6:00 PM. The reason was that Board meetings had become quite lengthy. Second,
meetings are televised for the purpose of allowing the public to observe the Board's
action. Finally, virtually all other elected Boards in Truckee begin their meetings at 6:00
PM or earlier.
New information: There is no new information.
Recommendation: This is a workshop for discussion only.

Ordinance No. 2007 - 02
AMENDING ORDINANCE 9502
BY LAWS OF THE DISTRICT AND
TITLE 2 OF THE ADMINISTRATION CODE:
TIME OF REGULAR BOARD MEETINGS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility
District as follows:
1. Section 2.04.020 of the District Code of Regulations shall be amended to read as follows:
2.04.20 Time of Meeting—The time for regular meetings of the Board is the first and third Wednesday
of each month at 6:00 P.M. If and when said Wednesday falls on a legal holiday, then said regular
meeting shall be held at 6:00 P.M. on the next business day following the legal holiday.
2. All ordinances or other actions adopted by the Board of Directors that are inconsistent with this
ordinance shall be repealed insofar as they are inconsistent.
3. That the Deputy District Clerk of the District be directed to publish this ordinance in accordance
with the laws of the State of California.
4. That this ordinance shall be come effective after the lapse of thirty (30) days from the date of
adoption of this ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District in a
meeting duly called and held within said District on the 18th day of July, 2007.
