/0-1 RESOLUTION NO. 8335 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT ADOPTING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE PROJECT OF THE HIRSCHDALE WATER IMPROVEMENT AREA, PROJECT 83-3, AUTHORIZING THE PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS FOR FARMERS HOME ADMINISTRATION FUNDING, AND AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT TO SIGN ON BEHALF OF THE DISTRICT WHEREAS, the residents of the Hirschdale community are requesting annexa- tion to the Truckee Donner Public Utility District; and WHEREAS, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District has proposed to up- grade the existing water distribution system as necessary; and WHEREAS, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District staff has conducted an initial study and an Environmental Impact Assessment of the proposed pro- ject and has made the results of the staff effort available to the Board of Directors; and WHEREAS, the Board has collective and individual knowledge of the Truckee community, the physical utility systems and environmental setting of the pro- posed project; and WHEREAS, the Board is requesting funding from the Farmers Home Administra- tion; and WHEREAS, the Farmers Home Administration will not accept less than a com- plete preapplication; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Truckee Donner Public Utility District Board of Directors authorize the President of the Board to complete the following actions: 1. Acknowledge and approve the environmental assessment; 2. Sign the Negative Declaration on behalf of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District; 3. Approve the filing of the Negative Declaration with the Nevada County Clerk; 4. Execute a form CA-189 to be sent to the State Clearinghouse; 5. Transmit the above documents to the State Clearinghouse; 6. Submit the preapplication for funding to the Farmers Home Admin- istration; 7. Transmit the funding application and supporting environmental documents to the Sierra Planning Organization; and 8. Transmit a request for an Archaeological Site Inventory to the appropriate Archaeological Information Center.
