RESOLUTION NO. 7320
of the
TRUCKEE-DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEED ON
SALE OF SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Truckee-Donner Public
Utility District heretofore, made a Notice of Sale at Public auction of
real property, more particularly described in the legal description, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice of sale thereon in accordance with the
Notice to Bidders , Instructions to Bidders , and Bid Form, the District
duly received on July 17 , 1973, bids for the sale of said real property,
and
WHEREAS, the bid of Dr. Keith in the amount of $13,002 .00 was
the highest and best bid received for said real property , pursuant to
said notice, and
WHEREAS, the purchaser, Dr. Herbert A. Keith, has paid in full
the bid price in the following manner: Payment of an initial deposit
with bid of $2 ,000 . 00 , and subsequent payment of the bid price in
cash in the amount of $11 ,002 .00 , making total aggregate payment of
$13 ,002 . 00 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE TRUCKEE-DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the sale of approximately 3 . 48 acres of real property
heretofore declared surplus , and in accordance with the Notice of Sale ,
Instructions to Bidders , and Bid Forms , and related documents applicable
to said sales transaction, is confirmed to Dr. Herbert A. Keith, being
the highest and best bidder for said property, and said purchaser having
paid the full purchase price in cash;
2 . That the President is hereby authorized and directed to duly
execute and deliver to said purchaser a Quitclaim Deed transferring
title ; said Quitclaim to be substantial conformity with a copy thereof
attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and by this reference incorporated
herein.
3 . That upon execution and delivery of said Quitclaim Deed to
the purchaser, said sale shall be deemed concluded, and the bids of
all other purchasers other than the bid and purchase by Dr. Herbert A.
Keith are deemed rejected.
Passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of the Truckee-Donner
Public Utility District at a regular meeting thereof duly called and
held in the District on the 7TH day of AUGUST 1973, by the
following roll call vote:

All that portion of that certain Deed executed by McGlashan Water Company
to Truckee Public Utility District, recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Nevada County, California, in Book 94 of Official Records, Page 440, lying
within the North half of Section 14, Township 17 North, Range 16 East,
M. D. M. , more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the South line of the !North half of said
Section 14, as said South line is shown on that certain Record of Survey
entitled "A Portion of Section 14, T. 1 7N. , R. 16 E. , M. D. M•. " recorded
in the office of said Recorder in Book 2 of Surveys, Page 46, from which the
Southwest corner of Parcel No. 2, as described in that certain Grant Deed,
executed by John R. and Helen W. Fallis to Herbert A. and Mary Lea Keith,
recorded in the office of said Recorder in Book 487 Official Records, Page 8
bears North 87' 591 55" East 231. 10 feet; thence from the said point of
beginning, along said South line South 87' 591 55" West 180. 00 feet; thence
North 02' 00' 05" West 500. 14 feet; thence South 89' 251 15" East 383. 20
feet; thence, parallel with and 25. 00 feet westerly of an existing pole line,
the following two (2) courses: (1) South 00' 341 45" West 138.85 feet;
and (2) South 27' 431 45" West 396. 35 feet to the point of beginning contain-
ing 3. 48 acres of land, more or less.
Subject to all taxes or assessments, if any, applicable to the real property
hereinabove described, and subject to all easements, restrictions, reserva-
