WHY THIS MATTER IS BEFORE THE BOARD The Board appointed Coldwell Banker as the District's realtors and the Board needs to extend their contract. 2. HISTORY In March of 2007, the Board appointed Kappy Mann and Jennifer Boehm of Coldwell Banker as the District's realtors as it pertains to the Glenshire Drive property; the current contract will expire on December 5, 2008. 3. NEW INFORMATION Kappy Mann and Jennifer Boehm have been actively marketing the property with many escrows over the past 18 months. The current listing agreement will expire on December 5, 2008. There will two Listing Agreements, on for each parcel. The District is currently under contract with the Town of Truckee for the southern parcel. The Listing Agreement is to be extended to February 1, 2009; with escrow to be January 15, 2009 or sooner. The second Listing Agreement will be for the northern parcel only; the agreement is to be for one year until December 6, 2009. 4. FISCAL IMPACT There is no fiscal impact to the District. 5. RECOMMENDATION Extend the Listing Agreement for the southern parcel until February 1 , 2009 and to extend the Listing Agreement for the northern parcel until December 6, 2009. /,-7. Michael D.
