Board approval is required for expenditures in excess of $15, 2. HISTORY During the Summ er of 2004, a project entitled Donner Lake Pipelines-2004 was undertakene t�s as art of the reconstruction of the Donner L ol ake Water West Reed Avenue along with a p contract involved the installation of a flow tiler hone I�onduits running uphill from West Reed joint trench containing water, electrical a p owners along their Avenue. The District acquired 10-foot wide easements from two property common property line to allow the installation of these facilities. During the summer of 2005, the District accepted the project as complete and released the retention monies held by the District. 3. NEW INFORMATION In the Summer of 2007, the District received a call from one of the property owners who believed that the District's facilities were not properly located within the easement een It was determ ined that the property corners given in the easement descriptions had b the disturbed during construction and the District retained et the District confirmed that some property corners. After the property corners The existing b en facilit es are shown in Figure 1. of the facilities are improperly located. The District then discussed the situation with the property owner. The property in question dins 50is feet in width and has 10-foot wide side lot line setbacks. The Water Department has prepared plans and specifications for the relocation work. The proposed project schedule is given below: Begin Advertising for Bids: August 21, 2008 Bid Opening: September 10, 2008 Contract Award: September 17, 2008 Complete Construction: October 15, 2008 The sch edule described above is tight but achievable. However, in order to meet that and schedule it is necessary for the District to purchase the materials of a contract such as lb piping, Board.
