Subject: Staff Initial Review of the Conservation Committee Final Report
1. WHY THIS MATTER IS BEFORE THE BOARD
The Board requested that Staff develop an initial response to the recommendations of
the Water and Energy Citizens Advisory Committee's Water and Power Conservation
Plan.
2. HISTORY
During the August 20th Board meeting, the Board received the Conservation
Committee's final report and directed staff to review the report and develop an
implementation plan.
3. NEW INFORMATION
The Staff has begun our review of the recommendations and this is the first of a series
of workshops to discuss a process with the Board for review and implementation of
the final report recommendations.
4. FISCAL IMPACT
There are no fiscal impacts to the 2008 budget. Any changes to existing TDPUD
activities or programs will be reflected in the 2009 budget (and beyond) which will
require review and approval by the Board.
5. RECOMMENDATION
Provide direction to Staff on the Board's desired process for review and
imple nta 'on of recom tions in the Conservation Committee final report.
