TDPUD Monthly Activity Report
April 15, 1999
To: Board of Directors
From: Mary Chapman, Administrative Services Manager
Subject, March – April, 1999 Staff Report
AGENDA #11
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Customer service activity continues to be busy. The ski lease transfer requests
have almost come to an end for the season.
NEW CONSTRUCTION: New construction has started to pick up. While we have only received about four
requests for new services over the last six to eight weeks, we have received four requests this week alone.
BILLING: Billing is current.
Mark has printed and mailed Equal Payment Plan letters for the next EPP year to almost all of our
customers. Customers currently on the plan receive a letter telling them of their new amount. Customers
who are not on the plan receive a different letter. This letter explains the program and provides the
customer with an enrollment form.
This weekend, Rosana will be applying an upgrade to the current Orcom billing software. The upgrade
includes enhancements to the billing software.
ACCOUNTING: Accounts payable and payroll are current.
We have completed the final financial statements for 1998 and we are currently working on the financial
reports for the months of January through March of 1999. They will all be included in the Treasurer’s Report
th
submitted for the May 5 meeting.
The annual audit is done. Everything went very well. Rick Blumenfeld of Arthur Andersen is scheduled to
th
be here at the May 5 meeting to review the audit results with the Board.
Last weekend, Joan applied an upgrade to our current Orcom financial software. This upgrade included
some minor enhancements and mostly “bug” fixes.

INSURANCE: The property and liability insurance is scheduled to renew on May 1, not May 7 as I had
st
stated in my last report. Rob Hubbard of Aon Risk Services will be here at the April 21 board meeting to
make the renewal presentation.
Y2K: We continue to work on outstanding Y2K issues. Today, my BankLink program with SierraWest bank
was upgraded to the current version. While we are well on our way to being ready for the year 2000 in our
department, there are still some things that we need to check out.
