February 9, 2000
To: Board of Directors
From: Peter L. Holzmeister
Subject: Truckee Area Local Governance Study
AGENDA #
Attached is the most current version of the draft Truckee Area Local Governance Study. At this
point the document is still a draft, subject to change by the local agencies that have participated
in its preparation. Eventually each local agency would be asked to adopt it, whereupon it
becomes the official study of local governance issues.
The purposes of this agenda item are:
(1) To determine whether the draft document reflects the view of TDPUD;
(2) To determine whether we wish to amend it in any way;
(3) To determine what should be the next step.
I will be prepared to briefly walk the Board through the chief findings of the study. I will use an
overhead presentation; the overhead slides are attached for your review.
