This project is to supply irrigation water from the Donner Creek well to the golf course. The final funding for this project will be from the owners of the Truckee Falls Golf Course either in money or land. It is important that this project is completed before the high water demand summer usage season in Truckee. Project plans, specifications, and contract documents are complete for the Truckee Falls Golf Course Pipeline project. We are now asking for authorization to advertise for bids for the construction of this project with a proposed bid opening date of April 27, 2000. This bid opening date will be after the CEQA is complete and approved. RECOMMENDATION I recommend that the Board authorize staff to advertise for and accept bids for construction of the Truckee Falls Golf Course Pipeline Project with a bid opening date of April 27, 2000.
