HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-04-05 Agenda Packet - Board (14) UII rF 1, Public Utility District Memo To: Board of Directors From: Kathy Neus, Support Services Manager Date: 03/31/00 Funds have been set aside in the 2000 budget for purchase of three multi-purpose sport utility vehicles, one 1/2 ton regular cab, short bed pick-up truck, three four wheel drive service truck cabs and chassis, and one four wheel drive 3/ton pick-up. The District issued a call for bids, advertised and mailed invitations to nearby auto dealers. Still,only two bids were received. A copy of the bid summary is attached. In addition to taking some exceptions to the specifications, neither bidder submitted a bid bond, so the bids are non-responsive. Recommendation I recommend that the Board reject the bids.
