TRUCKEE DONNER Memorandum To: Board of Directors From: Ed Taylor,Water Superintendent Date: 07/14/00 Consideration of proposal from Nimbus Engineering to provide hydrogeologic services Background At the July 5, 2000 Board meeting, staff presented a request asking permission to proceed with a scope of services and requesting a proposal for hydrogeologic services from Nimbus Engineering. Before the July 5, 2000 Board meeting, a review was made to see which firms had staff with the experience and expertise to provide the services the District needs to develop a new water supply. Five firms were considered to be familiar with the Truckee area. The five firms considered by staff were HSI GeoTrans, Kleinfelder, Nork, Lunderoff & Scalmanini, and Nimbus Engineering. Nimbus Engineering has staff with a history of performance that meets the District's needs. The detailed proposal will be distributed on Monday July 17, 2000.
