This letter will be sent with the Annual Water Quality Report. Recommendation: I recommend the Board authorize the conservation letter to the Glenshire area customers. ®Page 1 May 2002 Dear Glenshire Service Area Customer, TDPUD needs your help with water conservation again this summer starting June 1 sc and ending September 30`h. We would like to make it voluntary. But to make it voluntary, we need every ones help. • No Watering on Mondays (this allows the water tanks to refill after the weekends) • No outside irrigation between 10:00am and 5:OOpm on any day. • When watering is permitted, do not create any runoff. • No washing of driveways, decks, or paved areas. WATERING SCHEDULE Odd number address —Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday ❖ Even number address —Wednesday, Friday, Sunday ❖ And Remember No Watering on MONDAYS If TDPUD finds voluntary conservation is not working, then mandatory conservation may be instituted, with possible fines. TDPUD is working on the waterline project to Glenshire and hopes to have it completed by the Fall of 2002. Once the project is complete, this type of watering schedule will not be needed. Thank-you in advance for your help in this matter.
