HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1988-05 - Board tlo.l RESOLUTION NO. 8805 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT ADJUSTING DEFERRED COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, compensation for the District's managerial employees, namely the Office Manager, District Engineer , Finance Supervisor and Executive Secretary, has not been reviewed for one year; and WHEREAS , the union employees have accepted a wage freeze for 1988, but have benefited by improvements in the pension program and medical insurance program; and WHEREAS, the District Board of Directors deems it advisable and appropriate that the managerial employees realize a like increase in pension contribution; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows: 1. That the management employees be entitled to the same paid holidays, health insurance benefits, disability insurance benefits , sick leave, reimbursement of expenses and longevity pay as outlined for the bargaining unit employees in the Memorandum of Understanding for the period January 1 , 1988 through December 31 , 1991. 2. That the management employees above referenced continue to be offered a choice between the District's standard defined benefit plan and a contribution by the District equal to 8% of the employee's salary to the ICMA Deferred Compensation Plan effective January 1 , 1988. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District at a meeting duly called and held within said District on the 7th day of March 1988, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Aguera, Maass, Sutton, White and Corbett.
