RESOLUTION NO. 8834
OF THE
TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
EFFECTING A COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENT FOR
NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8804 adopted by the Board of
Directors on March 7, 1988, the District approved the Memorandum
of Understanding between the District and International Brotherhood
of Electrical Workers, Local 1245, which Union represents all
District bargaining unit employees; and
WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding provides, among other
things, that all bargaining unit employees receive a 3% increase
in wages effective January 1, 1989; and
WHEREAS, salaries for several non-bargaining unit positions,
specifically the positions of Office Supervisor, Finance
Supervisor, District Electrical Engineer and Executive Secretary
have not been adjusted for 1989; and
WHEREAS, because of the general increase in the cost of living, the
District Board of Directors deems it advisable and appropriate that
the positions referred to above receive a wage adjustment similar
to that which will be received by the District bargaining unit
employees; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the
Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows:
1. That the employees occupying the positions of Office
Supervisor, Finance Supervisor, District Electrical Engineer and
Executive Secretary receive a three percent (3%) wage increase
effective January 1, 1989.
2 . That the eligible non-bargaining unit employees noted above
continue to receive longevity compensation as outlined in the
Memorandum of Understanding.
3 . That the non-bargaining unit employees above referenced receive
a District contribution equal to 8% of the employee's salary to the
ICMA Deferred Compensation Plan.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner
Public Utility District at a meeting duly called and held within
said District on the 5th day of December 1988.
AYES: Aguera, Corbett, Sutton, White and Maass.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
