HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1985-02 - Board RESOLUTION NO. 85 02 OF THE TRUCKEE DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT EFFECTING A COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENT FOR NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. -8478 adopted by the Board of Directors on December 17, 1984, the District approved a new Memorandum of Understanding between the District and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local No. 1245, which Union represents all District bargaining unit employees; and WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding provided, among other things, that all bargaining unit employees would receive a 48 increase in wages during the first six months of 1985, and an additional 38 increase in wages during the second six months of 1985; and WHEREAS, several District non-bargaining unit positions, specifically the positions of Office Manager, Data Processing Supervisor, and Executive Secretary, have not received any wage adjustments since January 1, 1984; and WHEREAS, because of the general increase in the cost of living, the District Board of Directors deems it adivsable and appropriate that the positions referred to above receive a wage adjustment similar to that already received by the District bargaining unit employees; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the �. Truckee Donner Public Utility District as follows: 1. That the employees occupying the positions of Office Manager, Data Processing Supervisor, and Executive Secretary shall receive a four percent (48) wage increase, effective January 1, 1985, and an additional three percent (38) wage increase, effective July 1, 1985. 2. Other than the increase in compensation set forth immediately above, the positions referred to above shall receive no other increase in compensation of any kind at this time. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Truckee Donner Public Utility District at a meetin duly called and held within said District on the 7th day of January , 1985, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Cooley, Corbett, Hamilton, Maass and Duffy.
