HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1985-30 - Board RESOLUTION 00. 8530 OF THE TRUCKER DONNER PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT FINDING THAT THE PONDEROSA HILLS ANNEXATION WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND DIRECTING THE FILING OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE PROJECT WHEREAS , Sierra Nevada Civil Engineering has conducted an Environmental Impact Assessment of the proposed Ponderosa Hills annexation in accordance with the District Guidelines implementing the CEQA of 1970; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors , in open session, discussed the assessment and invited public comment ; and WHEREAS , each Director has personal knowledge of the Truckee area; NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed Ponderosa Hills annexation is hereby found not to create a significant environmental impact , specifically in the following areas: 1 . It will not have the potential to degrade the Quality of the environment or curtail the range of the environment; 2 . It will not achieve short term, to the disadvantage of long term, environmental goals; 3. It will have no impacts which are individually limited , but cumulatively considerable; 4 . It will not cause substantial adverse effects on human beings, either directly or indirectly. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a Negative Declaration be prepared and filed with the Placer County Clerk at the earliest opportunity.
